Thank you for your recent help with customer service. I have been a long time customer of Walmart, and have frequently used Walmart as my first choice in shopping, both in-person and online.
Recently, I placed an order for a Mainstays Square Foldable Table on January 14, 2021, order number 992892828. I initially received an estimated delivery date of May 13, 2021. However this date has long passed, and when I check on the status of my order, your website continues to state the order is still processing. I reached out to your customer service team on May 25, 2021 to inquire for more information. Unfortunately, the customer service representative I contacted at the time was only able to inform me that the order was indeed still processing, and it would ship shortly.
As it has been over one month since my last inquiry, I would like to request a prompt refund for the order, as I would like to purchase the table from another source. Thank you for your time, and I look forward to your response.

Thank you for taking the time to reach out to us. We are thankful for your long-time patronage at Walmart, and hope to continue further service in the future.
Upon reviewing order number 992892828, we have determined that an error occurred within our system, causing the shipment delay. When the order was placed, the Mainstays Square Folding Table was sold out. However, due to a bug within our system, the order went through regardless. Thus, as we had no stock during the period of May-June, the order was put on hold. However as of July 3, 2021, we have received stock of the table, and have shipped the table towards the given address. As a result, we are unable to issue a full refund for the order.
After discussing with our Customer Satisfaction team on how to proceed, we have agreed to issue a partial refund in the form of the enclosed $100 Walmart Gift Card, redeemable at any of our Canadian locations. We have taken several steps to rectify any issues within our online ordering system to prevent any future issues, and hope to continue business with you in the foreseeable future.
