My leadership experience and interests at UBC are related to program and curricula initiatives, student and faculty engagement, and the promotion of research-informed teaching and learning that attends not only to the linguistic elements of the foreign languages that we teach, but also to pertinent connections that learners make among languages, cultures, and other academic areas and comparisons among the languages and cultures housed in the Department of French, Hispanic, and Italian Studies.
