Provincial Quality Team – Education Specialist
Environmental Health Department, Alberta Health Services ( 2009 – present)
- Project manager for the deployment of SharePoint within the department, and current training and technical lead.
- Project manager for the deployment of a provincial course registration system.
- Team member responsible for the development and delivery of education sessions to 10,000 members of the public yearly on public health topics including hand hygiene, infection control and food and water safety.
- Co-chair of committee responsible for the professional development of over 300 staff.
- Lead in the development of online training, using Storyline and Captivate, for food safety training and IT training.
- Continuous involvement in the development, evaluation and restructuring of provincial educational programs and materials to ensure the needs of our clients and other stakeholders are met.
