Apprentice Mindset implementation
Early on in my practicum, I posted the main points from the apprentice mindset at the back of our Carpentry classroom. I have been encouraging the students to engage themselves in the theoretical side of Apprenticeships on a daily basis.
So far, the most readily understood and relatable points from the Apprentice Mindset seem to be:
- The Lens of Improvement
- Do a Little Better Next Time
- Ask Questions
- Share Knowledge
I think that these are really foundation blocks for the Apprentice Mindset, and I am not surprised that these are the most readily understood.
