NNPBC Instagram Contest for National Nursing Students’ Week

This week, November 21-27, 2022, is National Nursing Students’ Week in Canada. To celebrate, NNPBC is running a National Nursing Students’ Week Instagram Contest open to nursing students in any designation program located anywhere in BC! We would love your help in sharing information about this contest with your networks.

To participate, nursing students need to:

  1. Follow NNPBC on Instagram @nnp_bc
  2. Like our National Nursing Students’ Week Instagram post (see attached for what it looks like)
  3. Comment on the post with the nursing designation they are working towards and the location of their educational institution in BC

The contest runs from November 20-December 10, 2022. Two winners will be randomly selected after the closing date to win both a $250 gift card and free NNPBC membership for 2023!

Note that students do not have to be current NNPBC members to participate. They just have to be current nursing students at any institution located in BC. For more details, visit our webpage at

Food Hub Market Reopening

Dear BSN Students,

Support the re-opening of the Food Hub Market– a student-led grocery aiming to provide at-cost foods in a welcoming community space at the UBC Vancouver campus. All are welcome to shop the market Mondays-Thursdays from 10:30 am – 6:30 pm in the CIRS Building (in the former Loop Cafe space at 2260 West Mall).

If you communicate with UBC Vancouver-facing audiences, we would appreciate your help spreading the word about the market and our launch celebration event happening on November 23rd from 1-3 pm. More information and pre-programmed social media content can be found in the Food Hub Market Comms Toolkit.
