Faculty member, Dr. Meaghan Thumath, is inviting everyone to attend the Transforming Health Symposium.
About the Symposium
The Transforming Health Symposium is a flagship event hosted by the UBC Faculty of Medicine. The Symposium convenes global thought leaders, clinicians, researchers, trainees and industry experts to explore how biomedical innovations can be translated into tangible health solutions. New this year, the UBC AI and Health Network will host a dedicated half-day focused on translating AI innovation into real-world health impact. The forum will highlight early progress and explore how AI-enabled tools can address complex health challenges, laying the groundwork for scalable and meaningful integration within the healthcare system.
The Symposium focuses on accelerating the translational pathway – from discovery to deployment – by integrating B.C.’s life sciences strengths into a cohesive system. Through keynote presentations, panels and showcases, participants engage in dialogue on how to move therapeutics, AI innovations, diagnostics and technologies through development and regulatory pipelines more efficiently, equitably and sustainably.
