{"id":7216,"date":"2025-09-11T09:21:54","date_gmt":"2025-09-11T16:21:54","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.ubc.ca\/bsnhandbook\/?p=7216"},"modified":"2026-02-06T12:49:14","modified_gmt":"2026-02-06T19:49:14","slug":"year-4-bsn-fall-awards-applications-due-sept-22-2025-by-1159pm-pst","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.ubc.ca\/bsnhandbook\/year-4-bsn-fall-awards-applications-due-sept-22-2025-by-1159pm-pst\/","title":{"rendered":"Year 4 BSN Fall Awards \u2013 Applications Due: Sept. 22, 2025, by 11:59pm PST"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Dear Year 4 BSN Students,<\/p>\n<p>The BSN Program is accepting applications for a number of University Awards for Year 4 BSN students.<\/p>\n<p>These are merit-based University Awards provided to students at the recommendation of the School of Nursing \/ BSN Program, and the following conditions apply:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>They are governed by <a href=\"http:\/\/www.calendar.ubc.ca\/vancouver\/index.cfm?tree=3,299,0,0\">University Awards<\/a> campus wide policy, as outlined in the UBC Awards Calendar.<\/li>\n<li>Undergraduate student awards based on academic merit will be given to a student who has a cumulative average of 75% or higher (full time course load with no failed courses).<\/li>\n<li>Only 4th year BSN students are eligible for these awards (Currently in Term 4 &#8211; September \/ 2025W)<\/li>\n<li>In addition to academic merit, these awards recognize volunteerism, community and\/or family service, leadership, student affairs, extracurricular activities, and a commitment to the nursing profession or community, and the need for financial assistance.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>To be considered for these awards please complete the\u00a0following <strong>BSN Awards Competition Application (<\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/ubc.ca1.qualtrics.com\/jfe\/form\/SV_3a9drVzkqpYcutU\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Link to Application<\/strong><\/a><strong>) by 11:59pm PST on September 22, 2025.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>If you have any questions, please email <a href=\"mailto:awards@nursing.ubc.ca\">awards@nursing.ubc.ca<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Dear Year 4 BSN Students, The BSN Program is accepting applications for a number of University Awards for Year 4 BSN students.
