Qualities of an effective prevention program

In order for prevention efforts to be effective the programs need to be comprised of comprehensiveness, varied teaching methods, sufficient dosage, theory driven, positive relationships, be appropriately timed, socioculturally relevant, outcome evaluations and well trained staff.
