Our speaker for the evening will be\u00a0<strong>Dr. Catherine Johnson<\/strong> from the Department of Earth, Ocean and Atmospheric Sciences at UBC.<\/p>\n<p><b>Getting to the heart of Mars with InSight<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Catherine Johnson is a professor of geophysics in the Dept of Earth, Ocean and Atmospheric Sciences at UBC Vancouver, and a senior scientist at the Planetary Science Institute, Tucson.\u00a0 She is a Co-Investigator on the InSight mission to Mars, the OSIRIS-REx mission to asteroid Bennu and was previously a Participating Scientist on the MESSENGER mission to Mercury.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Our next caf\u00e9 will happen on\u00a0Tuesday, May 28th\u00a0at\u00a07:30pm\u00a0in the back room at\u00a0Yagger\u2019s Downtown\u00a0(433 W Pender).
