Another blog! While browsing the web I came across this article that highlights a few problems we as consumers face while shopping. It mentions how there are 300 different eco-friendly labels and how this allows companies to easily greenwash by not using a credited label. In addition, the author mentions how it is important to have numerous eco-labels to keep a competitive market. I think eco-labels need to be more heavily regulated and eventually all products should be sustainable not leaving the consumer a choice…. although this will be not time soon.
