My name is Byron Wu and I am currently a fourth year student at UBC in the faculty of Forestry majoring in Forest Resource Management. I was born in Hong Kong and raised in Vancouver since I was three. Living in two different parts of the world, I have gained a passion for travelling and exploring new cultures. During my down time, I enjoy sports, namely weight lifting and basketball and snowboarding. My interest in going on outdoor adventures and enjoying nature got me into the faculty. I am expected to graduate in May 2016 and I plan to take a year in business school to combine forestry and commerce together. Specifically I would want to have a career in timber sales and trading on an international level.
Robin was born in Korea and immigrated to Canada when I was 10 years old. I first attended UBC in 2010 as a student in faculty of Engineering, but my passion for outdoor activities made me realize I needed to find a better field of study. After a year of searching, I finally decided to study forestry. Now, I am a 4th year student in faculty of Forestry majoring in Operations and minoring in Commerce. I am very excited to be a part of this massive project and looking forward to working with my peers and clients. At the end of all this experience in UBC, I hope to obtain my RPF and pursue my career in forestry.
