{"id":55,"date":"2016-02-01T21:52:58","date_gmt":"2016-02-02T04:52:58","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.ubc.ca\/canimforestserviceubc\/?page_id=55"},"modified":"2016-03-14T12:52:21","modified_gmt":"2016-03-14T19:52:21","slug":"project","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/blogs.ubc.ca\/canimforestserviceubc\/project\/","title":{"rendered":"Project"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Canim Forest Services (CFS) is a forest consulting organization consisting of 5 students from the Faculty of Forestry at the University of British Columbia (UBC). this management project presents an invaluable opportunity to apply the collective knowledge in a real world application of each of the students has \u00a0The CFS will collaborate with the Canim Lake Indian Band to devise multiple alternative plans addressing the economic, social, and environmental welfare of the \u00a0historic land base, while minimizing risks. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The purpose of this management plan is to guide the community members of the Canim Lake Band to sustainably manage their land base while achieving a range of objectives.
