Phrase: 食飯喇 — sihk faahn la

Use to let the patient know that their meal is ready and it’s time to eat.

Phrase: 係時候食藥 — haih sìh hauh sihk yeuhk

Use as a gentle reminder that it is the scheduled time for medication.

Phrase: 而家要瞓覺啦 — yìh gā yiu fan gaau lā

Use when it is bedtime or rest time to encourage the patient to sleep.

Phrase: 我扶你去廁所 — ngóh fùh néih heui chi só

Use when you are about to assist the patient to walk or transfer to the toilet.

Use to tell the patient you are going to change their diaper or incontinence pad.

Use before eating, after toileting, or after care procedures to remind them to wash their hands.
