At the same time it makes it easier for students to walk to school from the neighbouring Quail Ridge community just North of the university.<\/p>\n<p>The UBC Okanagan Campus Trails System consists of three different walking paths.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The Pine Loop Trail, is a 1.7km trail through the west campus forest which connects to the Quail Ridge community trail and takes about 20 minutes to walk, is a slightly more rugged trail situated in the wilderness that surrounds the university. It also connects to other trails systems around Robert Lake which features a unique biotope known for bird watching.<\/li>\n<li>The Snowberry Loop Trail is a 1.55km paved sidewalk trail that loops around the Southeastern edge of campus and connects many campus buildings. Snowberry Loop offers spectacular views across the valley making it a great walk to enjoy some beautiful scenery, stretch your legs, and clear your mind.<\/li>\n<li>The Old Pond Trail, an educational, interactive and relaxing trail that takes walkers past the campus pond and the Learning Garden. At just under 1km and close to proximity to the campus core, it&#8217;s perfect for a quick break between classes.<\/li>\n<li>The Juniper Trail is the newest trail; it links the campus to the residences and amenities around John Hindle Drive and Academy Way. It is becoming utilized more as the development in that area continues. The Juniper Trail also connects the Snowberry Loop and the Pine Loop Trail.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>SENTIERS<\/p>\n<p>Le r\u00e9seau de sentiers du campus de l&#8217;UBCO encourage les \u00e9tudiants \u00e0 rester actifs, \u00e0 sortir et \u00e0 bouger. En m\u00eame temps, il permet aux \u00e9tudiants de se rendre plus facilement \u00e0 pied \u00e0 l&#8217;\u00e9cole depuis la communaut\u00e9 voisine de Quail Ridge, situ\u00e9e juste au nord de l&#8217;universit\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p>Le syst\u00e8me de sentiers du campus de l&#8217;UBC Okanagan se compose de trois sentiers diff\u00e9rents.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Le Pine Loop Trail, un sentier de 1,7 km traversant la for\u00eat du campus ouest et reli\u00e9 au sentier communautaire de Quail Ridge, dure environ 20 minutes. Il s&#8217;agit d&#8217;un sentier l\u00e9g\u00e8rement plus accident\u00e9 situ\u00e9 dans la nature sauvage qui entoure l&#8217;universit\u00e9. Il est \u00e9galement reli\u00e9 \u00e0 d&#8217;autres r\u00e9seaux de sentiers autour du lac Robert, qui pr\u00e9sente un biotope unique connu pour l&#8217;observation des oiseaux.<\/li>\n<li>Le Snowberry Loop Trail est un sentier pav\u00e9 de 1,55 km qui fait une boucle autour de la limite sud-est du campus et relie de nombreux b\u00e2timents du campus. Le Snowberry Loop offre des vues spectaculaires sur la vall\u00e9e, ce qui en fait une promenade id\u00e9ale pour profiter d&#8217;un paysage magnifique, se d\u00e9gourdir les jambes et s&#8217;a\u00e9rer l&#8217;esprit.<\/li>\n<li>Le Old Pond Trail est un sentier \u00e9ducatif, interactif et relaxant qui emm\u00e8ne les promeneurs le long de l&#8217;\u00e9tang du campus et du Learning Garden. D&#8217;une longueur d&#8217;un peu moins d&#8217;un kilom\u00e8tre et proche du c\u0153ur du campus, il est id\u00e9al pour une pause rapide entre les cours.<\/li>\n<li>Le Juniper Trail est le sentier le plus r\u00e9cent ; il relie le campus aux r\u00e9sidences et aux \u00e9quipements situ\u00e9s autour de John Hindle Drive et Academy Way. Il est de plus en plus utilis\u00e9 au fur et \u00e0 mesure que le d\u00e9veloppement de cette zone se poursuit.
