{"id":89,"date":"2021-03-08T03:28:12","date_gmt":"2021-03-08T10:28:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.ubc.ca\/caylabanman\/?p=89"},"modified":"2021-03-08T03:28:12","modified_gmt":"2021-03-08T10:28:12","slug":"midterm-evaluation-choices","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.ubc.ca\/caylabanman\/2021\/03\/08\/midterm-evaluation-choices\/","title":{"rendered":"Midterm Evaluation Choices"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>For my midterm evaluation, I have chosen \u201cQuestions of Orality,\u201d \u201cHome,\u201d and \u201cThe Awareness of Susanna Moodie.\u201d I picked \u201cQuestions of Orality\u201d because it ended up being a very thought-provoking post as many of my fellow students commented on it. I also secretly enjoyed talking about my minor in Medieval Studies in context with this course. My next choice of \u201cHome\u201d is because in reading my fellow classmates\u2019 stories, I became very aware of the complexity of what home is; how it shifts or remains stagnant depending on the individual\u2019s history. It put into context the difficulty that some people have when it comes to defining their home. And finally, I chose \u201cThe Awareness of Susanna Moodie\u201d because when analyzing the introduction to <em>Roughing it in the Bush<\/em> I almost couldn\u2019t find a place to stop.
