Frozen yogurt’s trend in North American market (Response to Ariel Liu’s post)

I found that Ariel Liu’s blog’s post about Pinkberry frozen Yogurt is very interesting since we have done marketing strategy on the cookie experiment. Frozen yogurt has become one of the most popular desserts in the past two years. According to the industry analysts, who say that last yea American consumed $723 million of the frosty dessert.

As Ariel addressed in her blog, pink berry frozen yogurt targets everyone who seeks for sweet and healthy dessert, to offer a variety of fresh flavor froyo with low calories and sugar. As a market research publisher addressed, sales could reach to as high as $813million by 2016.

It seems that frozen yogurt is more likely to be a trend rather than being a fad. Unlike cupcake or bubble tea, they are not as healthy as frozen yogurt. As an upraising health issue is more concerned by the people who want to enjoy sweet and become healthy at the same time. Froyo will definitely become a popular chain for the consumer’s wants, and Pinkberry Yogurt has expanded their market in north America in appealing to more froze,s fans.
