\u201cCommunity\u00a0Talks\u201d is a regular speaker series open to all students and faculty in UBC\u2019s Coordinated Arts Program<\/a> (CAP). The series began in September 2022 with the goal of introducing CAP students to a light-touch form of \u201cCommunity\u00a0Engaged Learning\u201d; the series aims to help students connect their classroom learning to work happening off campus. Invited speakers explore themes relevant to the five CAP streams<\/a>; each event in the series puts two speakers in conversation with a student moderator. The series highlights CAP\u2019s focus on researching and learning in\u00a0community, both within and beyond UBC.
