Types of error patterns:
- Number sense
- Numeracy error
- Math fact error
- Operand error (understanding operations)
- Problems following procedures
- Place value error- ex. Columns misaligned
- Regrouping error- borrowing etc.
Accomodations
- Tables/Basic Fact reference or number line
- Use of calculator – also to teach them how to use a calculator to be succesful in daily math needs
- Check and teach self-advocacy skills, metacognitive skills, initiation (asking for help, starting etc. EF skill)
