Hello and welcome! My name is Chelsey Cu and I am a recent graduate from UBC. I have a Bachelor of Arts in geography, and focused on environment and sustainability. Being born and raised in Vancouver, I feel that I am quite privileged to live in such a beautiful city. This has inspired me to pursue a career in GIS. This is a powerful tool that can do a range of analysis. My interest lies in sustainable urban planning. There a lot of social issues that can be better understood by looking at spatial patterns that arise from varying locations. I believe that gaining better awareness is the first step to tackling these very complex problems. My goal, is to make the world a better place, one map at a time.
