The girl was thrilled finding her favourate journal on the browsing table-<em>San lian sheng huo zhou kan.<\/em> A young man, sounds like a graduate student,\u00a0asked me\u00a0for Chinese text books in his field&#8211;\u70ed\u52a8\u529b\u5b66\u3002A soft speaking girl\u00a0needs academic resources on \u72ec\u751f\u5b50\u5973\u95ee\u9898\u7814\u7a76, and she worried about the requirement of her first academic paper in English.<\/p>\n<p>According to the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.publicaffairs.ubc.ca\/media\/releases\/2008\/mr-08-161.html\">public affair news release <\/a>in December of 2008, thousands of students from China currently study at UBC, up from just 291 in 1996.
