When I was about 6-9 years old, Apple looked like this:

Nothing like the and Apple computer nor laptop we see in the current world today.

When Microsoft started becoming popular, and the Windows OS came out, Apple kind of just vanished and you could no longer see any Apple products floating around anywhere.

Then Steve Jobs created the very first iPod.

This is one of the first advertisements for the iPod that Apple launched:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nWqj6OQQOHA

Now contrast that to these old Apple computer Advertisements:

One huge change I can really see is the position that Apple is trying to portray.

When you watch the old Advertisements, it was all about how the Mac was “more convenient, more sophisticated”, and all these technology-based stats that make it better than a PC.

But as Apple launched the iPod, the commercial was not about technical advantages, rather it was about how Apple is the new Hip thing. Sure they throw in a few technical jargon, but the fact is, the offer the product as this new fashion statement which everyone must have.

Here are a few more recent commercial Apple has produced:

After offering a new fashion statement, Apple introduces its product as a newer and more hip computer where as the PC is an old computer meant for tedious and boring things like spreadsheets and calculations, as seen in the advertisement above.

What can I say about the entire image change is that it is definitely working great for Apple.

In Financial terms, Apple’s stock has never been higher and you can clearly see success Apple has achieved today just by walking around in the world today.

Today, it is almost impossible to not see an Apple product in every where we go.
