Writer’s text:
Two main strategies have been employed to detect the products of sequencing reactions which can be referred to as sequencing-by-synthesis and sequencing-by-ligation.
Writer’s comment:
So, the two types of sequencing mechanisms are two main strategies … And then they did say sequencing by synthesis and sequencing by ligation, I kept that pretty much the same because those are definitely keywords. And then the rest was my own sentence. … I would say because it’s more of a simple concept, it is very easy to just use it in my own words…So I would say maybe this shows whether I understand it better. Next-generation sequencing methods are to detect the products of the sequencing reactions. It’s a concept which is in every single paper I read.
