Sarkissian Hurford and Wenman (2010) indicated that we cannot solve problems by using the same kind of thinking we used when we created them. 

Writer’s comment:

This one is directly saying from the author. So I just directly quote: “This author indicated that…” This is exactly the same.  Quotation marks… I’m not familiar with using that. I barely use that… I think a lot of people still use it. But for my own style of writing, I just don’t know how to use it precisely.
