DESIGN THINKING WORKSHOP<\/strong><\/h3>\n

One week following the site walks, student teams engaged in a facilitated 2-hour design thinking workshop. The workshop introduced students to methods and techniques of design thinking that would support their work on the Ideathon Challenge. More importantly, the workshop sought to foster “ways of thinking” through the problem scenario and, to this end, generate fresh insights that might lead to innovative idea solutions. The workshop was developed in collaboration with Cindy Underhill (Strategist, Learning Resource Design, UBC).<\/p>\n
