His research broadly centers on integrated approaches to natural resources management, operational support for natural resources development, environmental impact assessment, and energy resources and systems. A key part of his research is working with Indigenous organizations to help outline data\/information management approaches and tools, define best practices for impact assessment, and develop case studies to help communities design new methods for conducting impact assessments.
