Using ArcGIS, I created a map of Vancouver with the tsunami danger zone clearly delineated, the road network affected, the land use areas affected, and the signage layer.

- method I use to find the percentage: Open the Attribute Table of “Vancouver_danger” and “Vancouvermask” and find the sum areas of each: 20314805.889169, 131033339.950334
- To create a layer containing the health care and educational facilities within the City of Vancouver danger zone: 1)use the Intersect tool; 2)input features “Vancouver_health” and “Vancouver_danger”; 3)input features “Vancouver_education” and “Vancouver_danger”.
