Sean is currently the High Performance Director at Twist Performance and Wellness – Vancouver. A strength and conditioning coach who specializes in elite high performance sport across a variety of sports both team and individual from sports such as soccer and hockey to ultra running and ice climbing.
Sean carries a Bachelor’s in Human Kinetics (BHK) while being certified as a Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) and a Functional Range Conditioning Movement Specialist (FRCms). He is currently a part of the UBC High Performance Coach and Technical Leadership program.
Growing up playing a variety of sports including Hockey, basketball, lacrosse, and baseball, he has extensive experience through his path in soccer. Playing on multiple provincial teams and progressing into playing 5 years of university, winning a national championship in 2008 with Capilano University. Following his University career he went on to coach as an assistant and head S&C coach for the UBCO men’s soccer team, while creating an S&C system within the local youth club Kelowna United that still runs today.
Sean has found his passion in strength and conditioning, helping athletes achieve higher levels of physical performance in their desired sport along with keeping them in the game injury free. Leading a team of highly experienced S&C coaches, he thrives in creating a positive and competitive atmosphere that brings out their athlete’s abilities that breed success in sport.
Outside of the training environment, Sean can be found in the mountains ripping down on his mountain bike or out on the golf course.
