These include free meals, laundry facilities, gym access, haircuts, generous health benefits, <strong>slides instead of stairs<\/strong>, games rooms, and nap rooms. The list goes on and on.\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/articles.businessinsider.com\/2010-12-15\/strategy\/30077248_1_cultural-values-employees-behaviors\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-131\" title=\"google-offices-1\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.ubc.ca\/coledickson1\/files\/2012\/11\/google-offices-1-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blogs.ubc.ca\/coledickson1\/files\/2012\/11\/google-offices-1-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/blogs.ubc.ca\/coledickson1\/files\/2012\/11\/google-offices-1.jpg 400w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>All the fancy things aside,\u00a0one perk of being a Google employee that really stood out to me was their &#8220;20% Time Program&#8221;. Employees are allowed to spend 20% of their time on whatever creative projects for the company that their hearts desire. I found this to be a really interesting benefit because I believe it serves 3 purposes.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The first purposed it serves is to intrinsically motivate the workers. They feel like they&#8217;re working at something they have control over and are given a sense of responsibility. Another purpose is provide a productive break for employees. Instead of giving them time to just fool around, Google gets it&#8217;s employees to do something useful to the company, and at the same time serve the \u00a0purposed to entertain them.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>After browsing the net, one company I found with outstanding company culture is Google!
