I would like to become a sustainability harmonist, rather than an activist who is an aggressive protestor or warrior, fighting and criticizing others.
How can I be more harmonized as a part and whole of sustainability? How far can I consider people or things as my communities?
It will be grateful if we as a community can discuss/harmonize together!
The video above is the part of “Sustainability Harmonist Workshop”. The background of the concepts for the workshop is at Hisayo Saito EDST542 Final paper July 29 2018 and Sustainability Harmonist Workshop Power Point. Three videos and three sessions seemed too much for the community organization and busy students. Therefore, the time line has been changed.
The first part “the Stranger” – 1)Request for participants to watch the sent video “The Stranger” by e-mail before the workshop. 2)Talk about the video and encourage strangers’ power!
The second part “Ikigai & Sustainability” – 1)Watch the “Sustainability Harmonist” video (for ESL or the workshop venue has equipment accessibility limitations, the video is sent by e-mail before the workshop day) 2) Take questions 3)Group discussions 4)Sharing their Ikigai
The third part “Individual psychology and sustainability/community” – 1)Explain the definition of community of Individual psychology instead of showing video 2)Discussion about how we can make harmonized community 3)Encourage to participate blog forum to share their experience as a sustainability harmonist in their community.
