Before class, please prepare the following:
- We will be welcoming a guest speaker in class: Bruno Lam
- Bruno is a Senior Investment Associate at the TELUS Pollinator Fund for Good. Pollinator aims to invest in emerging start-ups with strong potential for social impact and financial returns in four key pillars: environment, agriculture, health, and inclusive communities. Bruno supports the deal sourcing, evaluation, and investment analysis for TELUS.
- Prior to joining TELUS, Bruno was a research manager at the University of British Columbia’s Centre for Social Innovation & Impact Investing, where he advised impact investors with capital deployment and helped build initiatives within the Canadian social finance ecosystem including the Social Innovation Academy.
- Bruno is a graduate of the UBC Sauder School of Business with a B.Com (Hons.) in finance and sustainability.
