A list of blogs we like are listed in the Blogroll in the right column. For blogs you like, you might consider setting up an RSS Reader<\/a> so that you can easily keep track of new posts or your favourite blogs. Setting up an RSS Reader is super easy. There are bunch of options out there, such as Google Reader<\/a>, add-ons to Firefox, or RSS Readers that are built right into your email client.<\/p>\n

Blog groups<\/h3>\n

Many popular science magazines have started collecting groups of science blogs.\u00a0 Discover, Wired and Seed are all examples.<\/p>\n

ScienceBlogs<\/a> is the collection of blogs associated with Seed<\/a> magazine.<\/p>\n

<\/a>The New York Times has a few blogs:

\nGreen<\/a><\/p>\n

Discover Magazine<\/a> also has a collection of blogs<\/a> including The Loom<\/a> and Bad Astronomy<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Wired<\/a> maintains a group of blogs including a few specific to science<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The Public Library of Science<\/a> has started a blog network<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Big Think<\/a> is another group of academic-ish blogs.\u00a0 Matt Nisbet, a prof at American University in D.C., has this blog about public engagement<\/a>.

Ben Goldacre is a working physician but also maintains a great blog called Bad Science<\/a> (plus, he is hilarious!)<\/p>\n

New Scientist<\/a> is a weekly magazine published in the UK and is a great source of science news.<\/p>\n

The New York Times<\/a> covers a lot of science and each Tuesday features an entire science section called the Science Times<\/a>.<\/p>\n
