Grade 8 Boy’s Rugby Practice
During my 10 week practicum I was the Assistant Coach for the grade 8 Boy’s Rugby Team. I spend 4 days a week with this group either practicing or playing games for the entire course of my practicum. We had several successful tournaments, but in particular finishing 1st place an Elgin Park’s Rugby 7’s Tournament was a very memorable highlight. More than anything I enjoyed watching the kids develop their skills, rugby knowledge, maturity and come together as a team.
