It’s similar to Hydrophilidae sp. [green velvet], though the color of the body is whiter and the texture of the dorsal surface is ‘hairier’. Only one 3 mm individual of this species was found in the 2019 fall. The difference in color to Hydrophilidae sp. [green velvet] may be due to the instar. Further collections and morphological analysis of this species are recommended.
