Empididae sp. [doli]

This morphospecies is similar to some dolichopodid species. The last segment of the dolichopodid species in Pitilla has prominent lobes, unlike this empidid, which has two posterior spiracles on the rounded end of the last segment. It has prominent creeping welts. One specimen was sequenced.
