This species looks like a large earthworm –16 to 70mm. Its body is medium-brown with a blue to purple iridescent effect. This effect is not very evident in the absence of light. The ventral side is a lighter brown than the dorsum. Only one species was identified with molecular data. This species probably belongs to the Dichogaster genus; identification is to be confirmed.
Habitat: For its size, we infer it is a semiaquatic species.
