The larvae of this damselfly species act as a top predator in the aquatic habitat of bromeliads. Its body size ranges from 1 to 18 mm – excluding lamellae. Early stages may look like a Corethrella to the naked eye. One species was identified with molecular data – three individuals sequenced.
