It is different from other species of the subfamily by having large bean-shaped spots in the posterior part of the head. It has a broad thorax, though it could be due to the late instar that is the only registered. It has two -or few- small anal setae. The mandibles are evident from dorsal view, and protruding in ventral view
 
Only one individual was found and sequenced.
