For a global overview of what issues are currently being addressed in the realm of Indigenous Peoples, the UN website provides a plethora of resources. This website is a valuable resource detailing the UN’s involvement with Indigenous Peoples. Resources are abundant, and you can find many published UN reports relating to the work that is being done. There is detailed information on the UN Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples. Other links provide information regarding the history of the UN’s involvement with Indigenous Peoples dating from 1923 with the first international involvement; the UNPFII (the United Nations Permanent Forum on Indigenous Issues); resources for publications relating to Indigenous Peoples such as books, reports and research studies.
