Module 2 Post 3

3D Printing

An anecdotal writing about the practice and use of makerspaces in an effort to revitalize and continue Indigenous Knowledge and culture. I particularly liked that the anecdote includes ancient culture and blends with the adaptation of digital tools.

  1. Hi Kyle,

Thanks for sharing, I found this resource a few years ago. It is a digital file of Cree syllabic. This is a way that a makerspace could be utilized for Indigenous languages, and cultures. Here is more information about this here. https://3dprint.com/277405/3d-printed-syllabics-kit-to-help-teach-indiginous-cree-language/

I believe that there would also be opportunities to look at other Indigenous languages to develop similar resources.
