Been surfing these two sites for Dark Knight Rises all day today and I can’t seem to get enough of what they’re writing about. /Film also has an app that I, just hours ago, downloaded and have been constantly checking out.

Who is Tristan Prettyman?! Well, she’s a recording artist who makes some pretty beautiful, chill music. Check her out. Her blog is fascinating and she posts a lot of photos, quotes, and designs that are really inspirational so I dig what she has to say.

While most websites feature just art in one dimension or another, From Up North tackles different types of art and categorizes them quite neatly. My favorite section is Quotations, but the cool part is that you’ll eventually find one category or several categories that suit your likes and tastes because there are so many parts to the site.
The best part is that the site reminds you that art is everywhere. It’s in words, pictures, drawings, even logos and advertising and that whether you regard something as art depends on how you view something.
