Team Profile

Our group is called the CSL Integrators and consists of four members. The group members and their relevant credentials are described below.

Wee Kee Ong

Third Year – Electrical (Biomedical) Engineering
Wee Kee is passionate about providing service to communities and has a strong interest especially in the medical field. Her experiences of collaboration with communities include working with a Day-care Centre in Vancouver, B.C. and an Orphanage in Siem Reap, Cambodia.

Natasha Palmer

Fourth Year – Mechanical Engineering
Natasha is the Mechanical Engineering Club (Club Mech) President and has been involved in Club Mech since she entered Mech2. Her previous experiences involving Mech and EUS Feedback Sessions provided her a good background to be involved in this project. Her experiences with projects such as building a propeller-driven vehicle and a wind tunnel also aided her with the team work portions of the project.

Rouzbeh Salehipour

Fourth Year – Mining Engineering
Rouzbeh has worked in a mining job where he was responsible for conducting various interviews with people from a number of departments in an effort to improve and extend the mine’s safety practices. The interview, communication, and organization skills developed during his work term gave Rouzbeh a good background to conduct a majority of interviews done for this community service-learning project.

Ahmed Attieh

Fourth Year – Integrated Engineering
As part of Integrated Engineering, Ahmed has completed several group projects which include: a tennis speedometer, a stainless steel pipe wrapping machine and a rainwater purifier. These projects allowed Ahmed to learn how to work in groups and improved his project management skills.
