My name is Natalia, originally from Brazil. I am an environmental engineer with experience in forestry. While working in a governmental institution of São Paulo’s city, I participated on afforestation and reforestation projects in public spaces as well as campaigns with purpose of increasing biodiversity and urban afforestation. I also have experience in finance and administration, working in different companies that perform foreign trade. In Canada, I worked as volunteer at UBC Farm where I learned about medicinal and traditional plants used by First Nations as well as plantation, harvesting and maintenance of different kinds of plants. Through the MSMF program I am currently broadening and deepening my knowledge in the forestry field and having the opportunity to grow personally and professionally.
