Seeing different ways of learning and approaching a problem. The start. Each group was given the task of making 4 squares with a toothpick in each square. They then needed to remove 7 toothpicks to spell the word NINE. This activity encouraged collaboration and being open to learning from others.

A read aloud to my grade 2 class while they ate lunch today. The book Sunday Chutney displays many IB learner profile attributes. Post reading we discussed how the students would feel if they were Sunday Chutney (a girl who moves around a lot and is always in new schools).

Exploring our central idea: Imagination inspires creation. The students created their own sock stuffies. This is my favourite craft to do with kids!
