The theme for my sections of WRDS 150 is social media: We draw examples from media studies, psychology, journalism, and political science to explore how scholars approach social media networks, their uses, and their users.<\/p>\n<p>My research focuses on the discursive construction of the film festival and festival circuits in the context of national cinema. Other recent projects include a co-authored book chapter about methodological issues faced by film festival researchers, and an article about the global phenomenon of the Internet Cat Video Festival.
