The Prompt
I skipped through several prompts as I had hoped to receive a scenario that lent itself to a more positive outcome, I believe the world has enough negative outcomes highlighted in social media and entertainment.
My prompt: Describe or narrate a scenario about a box found a few years into a future in which society as we know it has come apart. Your description should address issues related to climate and elicit feelings of happiness.
The concept of AI Buddy was taken from the Leading Lines podcast. Towards the end of the podcast when the panelists were asked about the future of technologies, one described a world in which AI would help guide our decision making in order to make the most ethical, reasonable and cautionary choices (Bruff, 2019). I tried to take this concept a step further. When making decisions like what clothes or products to buy, perhaps, if we had a sort of Jiminy Cricket conscious type who helped guide us in making the best decision our creation of waste and pollutants would be lessened.
Although the story I created is rather limited (given the time factor), I hope it breathes some hope into our future rather than just the doom and gloom we are so used to.
