The pilot UBC Design Challenge offers a unique suite of prizes, awards and recognitions in the form of “learning experiences” across disciplines and sectors. The 100 participants will be placed into 20 teams who will present their concepts in a poster in a gallery setting. Through a peer evaluation process, five (5) teams will be identified to present their designed solution to a distinguished panel of judges and compete for three experiential awards (national internship, mentoring session and case competition – more details to come). All participants will have the opportunity to take their designed solution and apply for the following grants and programs:
