This being my first blog ever, I’m not really sure where to start.<\/p>\n
My name is Devin Belanger, but most people prefer to just use the mono-syllabic version of my name: “Dev”. Whatever floats your boat.<\/p>\n
As far as things about me, I enjoy long walks on the beach, romantic candlelit dinners, and a good mystery novel. Just kidding.<\/p>\n
If I could sum myself up in one word, I would choose: “Wanderlust”.
\nThere is nothing I enjoy more than travelling, except for perhaps losing myself in nostalgia; reminiscing about my adventures with whoever will listen.<\/p>\n
Travelling was, in fact, what led me to become fascinated with philosophy– one has a considerable amount of time to think while backpacking alone through South-East Asia.<\/p>\n
While I haven’t read many, my favourite philosophical works include\u00a0The Stranger by Camus<\/strong> and\u00a0Kafka’s Metamorphosis<\/strong>. Some of my favourite non-philosophical books include\u00a0David Mitchell’s Ghostwritten\u00a0<\/strong>as well as many sci-fi classics, such as 1984, Dune<\/strong> and\u00a0Ender’s Game.\u00a0<\/strong>When I’m not acting all pretentious and intellectual, however, I love to DJ & produce dance music, party at shows around town, and attend the gym to keep healthy.<\/p>\n Till next time \ud83d\ude42 “The world is a book, and those who do not travel read only one page” – Saint Augustine of Hippo<\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Hello\/bonjour.
