He has a rich athletic background. Darrin was an avid volleyball player through high school and university. He was a member of the U20 BC Provincial Team as well as part of the 2013 Championship team at Capilano University. Not only was Darrin heavily involved in sport as an athlete, he spent three seasons as an assistant coach with the UBC Thunderbirds Women\u2019s Volleyball\u20146 time national champions.
