Where does the world development come from?

No, not competition, not even intelligence or genius. Let me surprise you. It comes from simple human character.

You may often hear about successful businessmen, leaders, who changed the world with their ideas. Steve Jobs, Bill Gates, Mark Zuckerberg, Elon Musk, you name it. All of them contributed to the change in the tendencies, vision of the world, standards. Apparently, there was something of a great help for them to achieve what they dreamed about so passionately. We are going to try and find common features that all those individuals have. So, let’s concentrate on the nature of every successful person.

It’s character. Entrepreneurial character that has been influencing decisions and following actions towards the change.

First of all, it’s focus. No important, hard and time-consuming work would have been done without knowing what the ultimate goal and the logic step-by-step plan is. But there are so many distractions out there, like creative, but unrealistic ideas, discouraging influence of competitors, even one’s own uncertainty. That is why those who master this skill are meant to succeed.

The second entrepreneurial component is learning. Successful entrepreneurs are fully aware that they don’t know everything in their sphere, speaking nothing of what is out there, beyond their specialization. And they shouldn’t. The market is changing. That’s why it’s important always to stay up to date with technologies, new systems, industry trends. Learning is a process.

The next component, perhaps one of the most influential ones, is without doubt networking. Only by maintaining contact and meeting new people, an entrepreneur can find the right ones who would give him eye-opening advice, or who would fit right in into building a scalable company. Through giving and getting an honest feedback, the person gets closer and closer to a perfect version of oneself and thus, to a perfect future.

Eisenhower Decision Matrix

Another essential skill that has to be present in the entrepreneurial arsenal is efficiency. Hadi Chaudhry writes quite an acute, albeit highly engaging and thought-provoking blog about how to easily set priorities in order to reach the most desirable outcomes. All that has to be made is simply a fast decision with minimum efforts. Speed counts. It saves time. If one can do tasks fast, he will always follow through. By the way, in order to use time not only efficiently, but effectively as well, Eisenhower Decision Matrix would prove as an excellent mind tool for that. A major part of successful managers, CEOs, directors use it because it changes your mindset in such a way that you start making choices based on your goals, values, and priorities. And this, also called strategic thinking, builds up a risk-minimizing, well-thought future.
