In this line, there is several duty that State has to follow\u00a0to\u00a0protect and\u00a0fulfill\u00a0every citizen needs, as for instance, to granted the\u00a0communitarian\u00a0governance of\u00a0hydric\u00a0sources, to prevent and response to any\u00a0pollution\u00a0on water reserves, to granted that every citizen has access to clean water and sanitation services.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"mceItemHidden\">Accordingly to United Nations\u00a0SG6\u00a0until 2030, every society has to granted to their citizens the universal access to clean water and related services. Also is a sensitive goal to granted\u00a0the protection of\u00a0every ecosystem related to\u00a0forest, rivers, and any other source of fresh water. Finally, the UN commitment stress out the importance that International\u00a0cooperation\u00a0transfer enough resources and technology to support Global South societies\u00a0in order to\u00a0fullfill\u00a0this goal. (2)<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"mceItemHidden\">In spite of theses constitutional provisions and the UN\u00a0development\u00a0goals there still many challenges to secure the universal access to water in Ecuador. In this sense,\u00a0a Ombudsperson\u00a0report suggest to develop public policies toward to reorganize the\u00a0Institutional framework\u00a0wich\u00a0has the responsibility\u00a0to protect and\u00a0provide\u00a0clean water to every citizen, to mitigate the\u00a0poluttion\u00a0of rivers by urban consumption, and most important to protect the water sources from\u00a0extractivism\u00a0industries.
